Thanks to my PR Research teacher, Dr. Sweetser, a bunch of people got wind of the Target Rounders stuff and covered it. I recently did two interviews-- One for an AP writer, and another for a Minneapolis newspaper writer, so we'll see what becomes of that!

My two cents:
ReplyDeleteI was just at Target. I think its funny that they sell shirts that say "Every day is earth day" or "hug a tree" or "green is sexy" while they don't cary any recycled paper products or many organic food items/ clothes. I did notice, an organic baby lotion line...the same one that I've seen mentioned on E entertainment and other popular TV shows. So Target wants a "trendy, environmentalist" image, but they don't practice the corporate responsibility to back it up? Target is fake. At least Wal-Mart is openly horrible. Target tries to pretend like its not.
